In 1961 the first substantial enhancement connected with closing comet 55P is likely. At 1 UT 16 November 1499 trail can give an outburst with ZHR up to 350 meteors with large amounts of bright ones and fireballs. After that at 2 UT 17 November an also very strong traditional maximum will take place with ZHR about 40 meteors. Finally, at 9 UT 17 November average meteor brightness can rise due to 1600 trail.

In 1965 comet 55P will pass its perihelion and Leonids will give a number of outbursts. All before, at 6 UT 16 November an increase of bright meteors share is likely due to 1400 trail. Next, at 15 UT 16 November 1300 trail should produce quite strong outburst with ZHR up to 200-250 meteors with brightness above average. After that at 3 UT 17 November a very strong traditional maximum will happen, coinciding with activity from 1932 and 189 trails. Overall outcome will be 350-400 meteors on ZHR scale with brightness close to average. Then, during still lasting considerable background activity two small enhancements should happen. 1833 trail at 11 UT 17 November will increase ZHR to 50-70 meteors, and 1733 trail at 19 UT 17 Novebers will rise ZHR up to 30-40 meteors. Diring these little peaks average meteors brightness should increase.
